Artist - Don Byram - Abstractions

Don's Abstractions are distilled images of walls, bridges, boats (Anomaly series, below), and other structures and items we see in our everyday world.

One of his favorite quotes is from Georgia O’ Keeffe - “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way—things I had no words for.”

He strives to eliminate the unnecessary in his images.

"Very simple images do the best job of touching people." He "deconstructs" images to their base level to reduce the complexity of what the viewer is seeing and then layers color and texture back in to build the emotional content of the image.

The pictures on this page represent what Don currently has in stock in his store. Check back from time to time, because they change.....from time to time! All framed pictures come framed as seen unless other arrangements are made.
