Walking the wrack line of a deserted beach to find driftwood treasures is one of John Weber’s simple pleasures. So is taking award-winning photographs. Combine the two with imagination and the result is one-of-a-kind wall art with emotion; the viewer becomes part of the scene.

“I never know what I’ll create when I find a piece of driftwood or barn wood. It all depends on color and texture of the wood that will blend with the right photograph,” says Weber. “That every wood-and-photo match is different keeps me alert to discovery of the new, the unique. Great fun, too!”

Weber is a lifelong photojournalist with a penchant for Southern shores and rural landscapes. He mounts photos on aged wood and also produces the more traditional matted and framed photos. He lives in Watkinsville, Georgia.
