SHRIMP CATCHER

The historic town of Apalachicola in the Florida Panhandle is home for watermen who harvest shrimp, oysters, scallops and crabs in Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Shrimp boats dock in a marina just north of town and along the town waterfront; the drying nets and floats are visual icons of the area’s maritime resources. (The driftwood element at bottom resembles what you might expect–a shrimp!)
